Shakila Thangaratinam has a strong interest in clinical trials, diagnostic research, evidence synthesis and evidence based medicine. Her research is largely collaborative with national and international partners.
Her interest and work in pre-eclampsia has led to NICE recommendations for tests with regard to the same.
Professor Thangaratinam would be pleased to accept medico-legal instructions for cases concerning conditions in pregnancy.
